"In 1998 a very tragic thing happened to our family. In 1999. a very special moment was born because of it.
Almost 6 years ago we were in a terrible accident. My husband was killed, my youngest badly injured, my middle daughter, paralyzed, and myself permanently disabled. It was a moment in time where I could hardly breathe as a mother.
About 5 months later in 1999, something special happened. Sue Evans organized a "Women to Women" one day retreat in honor of our family. It was a huge event and I am sure taking hours and hours of planningby Sue and others. It was a way for my three daughters and myself to feel what it was like to be loved by so many. Sue asked Ashley and me to talk. I spokr from two braces and Ashley from her permanent wheelchair. I really can't remember what I said that day, but I do remember what Sue did for us.
When we hesitated to take a step back into life, Sue was there to show us how many people cared. From rhythm dancing, reflection talks, to a circle of friends literally holding and embracing us. It was a rebirth of sorts, and all possible because of Sue.
It was truly a very difficult time, but eased by Sue's efforts in trying to help us find our balance again. This event was the only one of its kind and unique for all the right reasons.
Sue Evans took a stand for us when we emotionally and literally could not do it on our own.
For that, I will always be indebted to her. Sue never does anything without giving her best to the program at hand. By doing so, she makes YOU a better person. I know I am...
Sue: I am so greatful for your love, support, phyical and mental comfort."

"I was looking for fun, exercise, inspiration and friendship when I retired several years ago. Little did I know that I would find all that and more when I signed up for an aerobics class taught by Sue Evans. Over the years I have participated in many hikes, Women’s Circles, and exercise classes with Sue and have found each one to be a gift. She is professional and caring and truly wants each person to have a unique experience geared to their comfort level. I continue to enjoy each event Sue creates." ~Judy Chagnon

Women on Weights/Fitness/Hikes

"I started personal training sessions with Sue (at the corporation where I work)
about 4 months ago and have seen significant changes in the toning/sculpting of my body, changes that I am pleased with. The best thing about training with Sue is her personal touch, she helped me to get to know my body and it's limitations.
I also had the opportunity to participate in one of Sue's hikes. I had a great experience and got to meet and interact with a group of wonderful women of all ages! Keep up the good work Sue and thank you!"~Ann-Marie Bynoe

"There is something wonderful about being outside and hiking with other women. I have been privileged to have that experience with Sue as a leader. Not only does she find great places to hike, she also provides quality leadership and a fun atmosphere. She has her special touches--a group photo and a circle of sharing which connects us more deeply with nature and one another. Come along! You won't be sorry." ~Linda Culpepper

"Taking a hike with Sue as leader was both an enjoyable and uplifting experience. I went with my Mom, who is 74 years old, and she and I both felt envigorated by our physical efforts in beautiful surroundings. Our circle activity made us feel connected to each other in many ways. We began our hike as a group of strangers but ended the trek as women willing to share their insights and to give each other moral support.

I have looked at Mt. Diablo from my back yard for 34 years, but I had never seen it from the angles that were available at the Morgan Territory. All of the views of this mountain were eerily breathtaking, with the fog and clouds occasionally streaming through the vista. I wish I had taken my camera with me!"~Selma Samayoa

Sue Evans.... you are a great teacher and motivator with a positive approach
to each person in class. You brought me out of my doldrums by your
encouragement and upbeat attitude. I have appreciated your support of my efforts to
help animals by sharing your artistic work. You definitely have made a
difference in my life. Thank you!

Calling the Circle/Circle Avtivities

Joining the Women's Circle is a wonderful opportunity to meet, connect and become friends with other women
in the community. It is a way to connect and develop one's spiriturality without barriers of any religious orientation. The circle offers a chance to become part of a larger group while giving us the chance to share our life in a warm & safe environment. We laugh together, cry together and do lots of fun activities together. It is something you can give yourself and in doing so give to others."~Carol Stanton

"I have been lucky enough to participate in Sue’s Calling the Circle group. Women here are protected and supported through her guidance and strong leadership. We have learned from each other and have been in touch with a deeper nature within ourselves. She always makes class interesting. It’s not always easy to leave home once you’ve settled in, but once I get to the site, I’m always glad I’ve come for the enrichment!" ~Judy Nobriga

Sue Evans helped me to create the perfect way to say “Thank You” to my family and friends for my wedding gifts. My husband and I gave her our favorite picture from our honeymoon in Hawaii. She did needed corrections and then emailed me several options we could use for the front of our Thank You cards and tailored them exactly how we wanted them. The cards were completed very quickly, looked beautiful, and provided us the personal touch we were looking for. Everyone loved them and I couldn’t have asked for a more professional service. Thank you Sue!! ~Carrie Doggett Glenn
